Hello

My name is Alex (Lex) and I've just joined deviantART.

My favourite things to draw are fanart, including: The Phantom of the Opera and Tim Burton films (Sweeney Todd, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Corpse Bride, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, etc). I also like to draw some manga, and other random things.

I use Derwent Graphic pencils for drawing, shading and colouring.

My experience in art and drawing is very little in terms of academic accomplishment; my last art lesson was in year 9, and I am now starting sixth form! However, I love drawing and use it to express m emotions, or just because I like the subject of the picture.

I am always open for advice, such as drawing techniques and such. Since I have little expeerience in the academic subject of art, I have limited skills, and yearn to learn more.
